Roleplaying and Site Rules

Hello and welcome to my site! Please take the time to read these rules before embarking on your adventures. Any violation of any of these rules will not be tolerated.
1. Treat other members, moderators, and Admins with courtesy and respect at all times. any sort of abuse, verbal or otherwise, is not acceptable. if there is an issue you need to resolve, please either do it in a private message or come talk to me (the Admin) or one of the Moderators and we will help you to the best of our ability. The Administrator reserves the right to ban anyone who chooses not to follow these rules.
2. Roleplaying that involves anything of a graphic violent or sexual nature is to be kept out of the public chatrooms. This is only to be done in the restricted forum which is designated for just that.
3. Characters that are "invincible" or "unkillable" will not be accepted as this hinders everyone else's ability to interact with them.
4. Characters owned by one member cannot kill or harm characters owned by another member without permission from that member.
5. Keep things realistic.
6. Always remember that there are real people behind these characters who have lives outside of Roleplay. Please be respectful of this and understand that they may not be on every day or always be available. real life always comes first before anything else.
7. as a member, your personal information os confidential. You do not bave to tell anyone anything about yourself that you don't want to.
8. if you are talking "ooc" or "out of character" in the chatroom, please keep your words typed within two brackets "(( ))" or single brackets "( )"
9. if you would like an author's forum for your writing or artwork please let me (The Admin) know and I'll set it up for you.
10. There will be a set of "Canon" characters on this site. any characters created by members must be original only.
11. The players of the canons are not reveal themselves to anyone. their identities are to remain confidential, except to the other Canons and the Admin.
12. Canon romances are allowed, but must be approved by the Admin first. This goes for canon pregnancies aswell.
13. Death of the Canons is not allowed. no exceptions. without them, there's no site.
**14. Biased decisions regarding warnings, or alerting the Admin to a problem regarding someone is not tolerated. Being a Mod or the Admin is not a popularity contest. It's abouit maintaining the rules and making sure everyone knows they're welcome here, can chat, make friends, and roleplay without any worries. **
** --for the Mods and Admins in particular. this also applies to members and the canons. anyone who simply "tattles" on someone or creates falsehoods about someone simply to get them in trouble will be given a warning. if it happens again, you're banned. no exceptions.
15. Don't be afraid to come to us if you do have a problem. we're more than happy to help you out with whatever it is as best we can. we don't bite.
16. and most importantly, be creative and have fun!
